A benefit for the St. Cloud Children's Home

A benefit for the St. Cloud Children's Home, called the Warpo Open, is a golf fundraiser that can trace it's roots ot Mike (Warpo) Cicharz, detail manager at White Bear Acura.

Warpo teams with GM, Dan Moen to help plan the June event each year. Between players and volunteers, 10-12 Luther employees are involved.

Since the first tournament in 1992, the Warpo Open has raised more than $300,000 for the children's home.

"We insist that it be used for something other than the general fund," Warpo said. "They can do something special that the kids really need."

Filling two 18-hole courses at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, MN, the event draws more than 300 golfers eash year.
